Our latest JOB offering is really a bit of fun. De Marthold’s novel tells the story of Nicholas Ridel, from recruit to grenadier & proud owner of a bearskin hat. It spans the whole period of the Napoleonic Wars and beyond. The book does not seem to turn up much and deserves to be added to the JOB library for its innocent charm.
